I’ve said it before but every time is like the first time. Im thankful for all the positive feedback Ive been receiving on my mixes especially JustRight. This project is really special to Roslynn, Chrystal, Joel, and myself. At the end of the day, it really isn’t about the mixes, the parties, or the social events. At the end of the day its really about using the JustRight Project to change the lives of others for the better. I’ve had friends and strangers approach me saying that we inspire them but really It’s the other way around. Thank YOU for the inspiration…..

DJ Jay-P invades Toronto and Manila
Got the confirmation yesterday that Ill be putting some stamps on my passport. First stop, Toronto Canada in April. Last time I visited relatives from T.O. I ended up meeting some good peeps and convinced them all to drive to New York with me for the Jay-P x Phers1 x DP Sound New York invasion. This time my cousin Mark and the homie DJ Seven are organizing a JustRight Event in Toronto to help promote the CD and Project! Next stop is Manila Philippines in May to handle some business, promote the project, visit family, and party like Im 22 years old again! I’ve been blessed to have done 4 DJ Tours in the Philippines in the last 6 years guest DJing at the most exclusive venues and radio shows in the country. However, I do believe that this time around will be thee most special Philippines invasion to date because every trip Ive made there in the past I always come home with a dream to help the poor people of my motherland. This time, Im bringing something back; a contribution, our efforts to help uplift the Philippines: The JustRight Project.
Can’t wait to see my friends and family! Im coming home Mama!

JustRight Engagement: Congratulations Vince and Steph!
Meet one of my best friends and business partner Vincent Valenzona and his girlfriend Stephanie Ofiana. Vince, a well-respected chef in the culinary industry is the chef at Ocean Avenue Seafood in Santa Monica, California. Steph is a Manager of Client Services at OneStop Internet, a company who manages internet presence for dozens of clothing brands including 7 for Mankind, True Religion, RVCA, to name a few. Vince and Steph are currently on vacation in the Philippines and are helping promote the JustRight CD and Project to our friends there.
Today I got a message from Vince saying “Time for a bachelor party, we are getting married!” Yes, he did it! Vince proposed to Steph a couple of days ago while watching the sunset on the beach in Boracay. Vince asked steph to write something in the sand and Steph wrote “something.” Then, he just said to write their names, so she did and took a picture of it. Then Vince told Steph he had an early anniversary present (their 4 year anniversary is on March 7). This is when he pulled out the ring and asked Steph if she would marry him. Of course she said Yes. Steph told me that “It was just us two, alone on the beach. I couldn’t have asked for it to happen any differently.”
Congratulations Vince and Steph on your engagement! I am very happy for the both of you and cannot wait to be there for the wedding and hopefully be a Ninong one day =)

JustRight CD in Production
Today was an exciting day for me because I dropped off the final Master copy and artwork to the media company that is duplicating the CD. That means that after 10 months of working on the JustRight mix, my role in the creative process is finished. It is officially out of my hands which means I cant make any more changes to the recording, mix-down, mastering, artwork, etc. I confess that I’m my biggest critic so it was an emotional roller coaster driving to the Media Company this afternoon but I am very happy with how everything turned out and Im really excited for you to hear it.

One of my best friends Carmela Ocampo BKA as “La” is no stranger to giving back. I admire her for not only being a beautiful, amazing Mom to Kinsey (pictured above), but she also has a motherly big heart that attaches herself to projects like the Annual Warmth Drive, Gobble Gobble Give Organization while also donating her free time when she can to the homeless missions of Downtown LA.
She is currentlly encouaging people to vote for the J Tuason jewelry line here to win a large grant from Pepsi in support of their J Tuason Project.

J. Tuason was co-founded by J.R. & John Tuason to help raise money for cancer research. The jewelry is not only symbolic, but also very fashionable and unique. One amazing lady is former Diamond Bar High School alumni Alyssa Corona. Not only has she contributed a gracious amount to the cause she has encouraged others around to do so and we can’t thank her enough.
