I’ve said it before but every time is like the first time. Im thankful for all the positive feedback Ive been receiving on my mixes especially JustRight. This project is really special to Roslynn, Chrystal, Joel, and myself. At the end of the day, it really isn’t about the mixes, the parties, or the social events. At the end of the day its really about using the JustRight Project to change the lives of others for the better. I’ve had friends and strangers approach me saying that we inspire them but really It’s the other way around. Thank YOU for the inspiration…..
Thank you Chénergy Lynne, I would love to give you an actual JustRight CD, shirt, and pins…
Got the confirmation yesterday that Ill be putting some stamps on my passport. First stop, Toronto Canada in April. Last time I visited relatives from T.O. I ended up meeting some good peeps and convinced them all to drive to New York with me for the Jay-P x Phers1 x DP Sound New York invasion. This time my cousin Mark and the homie DJ Seven are organizing a JustRight Event in Toronto to help promote the CD and Project! Next stop is Manila Philippines in May to handle some business, promote the project, visit family, and party like Im 22 years old again! I’ve been blessed to have done 4 DJ Tours in the Philippines in the last 6 years guest DJing at the most exclusive venues and radio shows in the country. However, I do believe that this time around will be thee most special Philippines invasion to date because every trip Ive made there in the past I always come home with a dream to help the poor people of my motherland. This time, Im bringing something back; a contribution, our efforts to help uplift the Philippines: The JustRight Project.
Can’t wait to see my friends and family! Im coming home Mama!

Meet one of my best friends and business partner Vincent Valenzona and his girlfriend Stephanie Ofiana. Vince, a well-respected chef in the culinary industry is the chef at Ocean Avenue Seafood in Santa Monica, California. Steph is a Manager of Client Services at OneStop Internet, a company who manages internet presence for dozens of clothing brands including 7 for Mankind, True Religion, RVCA, to name a few. Vince and Steph are currently on vacation in the Philippines and are helping promote the JustRight CD and Project to our friends there.
Today I got a message from Vince saying “Time for a bachelor party, we are getting married!” Yes, he did it! Vince proposed to Steph a couple of days ago while watching the sunset on the beach in Boracay. Vince asked steph to write something in the sand and Steph wrote “something.” Then, he just said to write their names, so she did and took a picture of it. Then Vince told Steph he had an early anniversary present (their 4 year anniversary is on March 7). This is when he pulled out the ring and asked Steph if she would marry him. Of course she said Yes. Steph told me that “It was just us two, alone on the beach. I couldn’t have asked for it to happen any differently.”
Congratulations Vince and Steph on your engagement! I am very happy for the both of you and cannot wait to be there for the wedding and hopefully be a Ninong one day =)
Here’s Vince and Steph and that big ring promoting the JustRight CD/Project in Makati.
Meet April, she came out to meet and listen to me spin at Commonwealth last Thursday. According to her she is my biggest fan and plays my mixes all the time. Her favorite mix is Love.Sick and has just recently been introduced to JustRight. For 30 minutes that night, I felt like I was some kind of celebrity like Justin Beiber haha.. “April, thank you for your support and inspiration” -JayP

So much appreciation and respect goes out to Richard Bao, CEO/Founder of Neoclassics, for supporting and being a part of the JustRight Project. His motivation is very inspiring and shines through all the hard work he does for the love of his company. Neoclassics generously collaborated with the JustRight Project and made shirts, which are available now, with profits going directly to the cause. Richard’s contribution will help change lives and build homes for the poorest of the poor in the Aytona Village, Philippines.

It means alot when our personal close friends like Rodel Santiago contribute to our cause, especially during these worldwide financially troubling times. Every step we ran today was in tribute to you guys! Some of you have asked if the site is still available for donations and it will be on an ongoing basis at www.firstgiving.com/justright.
We are overwhelmed with the response we got in support of our HB Surf City Run today, we are now way above our goal and continuing to climb higher with more funds than one home! With the release of the JustRight mix tonight at midnight we hope to continue to grow the donations. Please download the hip hop, soul and R&B mix from the link below and share it with your friends! Make sure to Myspace, Tweet or Facebook with the hashtag #JustRight to let us know if you have downloaded it. We are excited to hear your feedback.

Such amazing work that the Couples for Christ and ANCOP Organizations have done for years. While we are dollars away from reaching our goal of donations for our JustRight Project at www.firstgiving.com/justright of at least the cost of the building of one home at $2300.00, we wanted to share their pictures again of the previous villages they have built. The Aytona Village groundbreaking (start of construction will begin in March.)

I was surfing the web today and found this on Kreative Thought’s blog…..
“As a member of Rhythm Natives, I am proud to be a part of the JustRight Mix Project. Please take the time to read about the project, ANCOP, Third Floor Network, and DJ Jay-P. Giving back to those that are less fortunate is just right.” – Kreative Thought
The Rhythm Natives is one of the featured artists on the JustRight Mix with their single ‘Trust Me.’ I heard rumors of a special Promo Video they’re making for the JustRight Project… but for now peep this video of ‘Move’ and go pick up their album on itunes!
- DJ Jay-P
Today was an exciting day for me because I dropped off the final Master copy and artwork to the media company that is duplicating the CD. That means that after 10 months of working on the JustRight mix, my role in the creative process is finished. It is officially out of my hands which means I cant make any more changes to the recording, mix-down, mastering, artwork, etc. I confess that I’m my biggest critic so it was an emotional roller coaster driving to the Media Company this afternoon but I am very happy with how everything turned out and Im really excited for you to hear it.
Shout out to the homies, DELTA 9 MCs for recording this song and video for the JustRight Project!!
Here’s the new logo designed by Jon Oliveros who also designed the cover for the JustRight CD. We encourage you to put it up on social network sites to show everyone you’re aware and support the JustRight project! It might even look good as default/profile picture!
“….giving back to humanity, letting those less fortunate known that people DO care.”
One of my best friends Carmela Ocampo BKA as “La” is no stranger to giving back. I admire her for not only being a beautiful, amazing Mom to Kinsey (pictured above), but she also has a motherly big heart that attaches herself to projects like the Annual Warmth Drive, Gobble Gobble Give Organization while also donating her free time when she can to the homeless missions of Downtown LA.
She is currentlly encouaging people to vote for the J Tuason jewelry line here to win a large grant from Pepsi in support of their J Tuason Project.
J. Tuason was co-founded by J.R. & John Tuason to help raise money for cancer research. The jewelry is not only symbolic, but also very fashionable and unique. They are doing their part to help end cancer, at the same time uniting all those affected through a common and significant accessory. Thei goal is to make affordable jewelry with the majority of proceeds going to various organizations striving to put an end to cancer. More details can be found at www.jtuason.com
They were inspired to start the project to benefit cancer research when Jeff Tuason’s 16 year old sister was diagnosed with bone cancer in 2007. In 2009 she relapsed, so they decided to start a unique jewelry line that those affected by cancer can wear proudly to honor all the strong people in their lives. Please vote for the project daily at www.refresheverything.com/jtuason
We are greatful for the family’s donation and encourage support of the J. Tuason Project,
We appreciate all the love and support we have been receiving from our friends, family and co-workers in not only donating their hard earned money, but spreading the word about the JustRight project to their friends and family. One amazing lady is former Diamond Bar High School alumni Alyssa Corona. Not only has she contributed a gracious amount to the cause she has encouraged others around to do so and we can’t thank her enough. It’s a blessing to see our dreams coming true that people are learning more about the good deads ANCOP provides to the Philippines. It’s inspiring to see activation from the youth to the youth.
Special thanks to Miss Jen Marie for also blogging about the cause on her blog: Destination:Unknown.
We asked Alyssa what Just Right means to her and she said…
“JustRight… to me means reflecting on what’s truly important. feeling, doing, breathing, being JustRight is food for the soul; HAVING support and GIVING support…it’s what’s right.”
We agree and are excited to hear more from you about what JustRight means to you.
Tweet your answers with the hashtag #JustRight and make sure to include @roslynnc so I can see them.
You can also write what JustRight means to you in the space next to your donations at www.itsjustright.org. Don’t forget every donation gets a FREE JustRight Mix CD. Coming soon!
