5 year old hip hop dancer:
Only 8 year old I know that memorizes every song on the radio including BOTH the Make Her Feel Good and JustRight mix cds, funny intros and all.. If you’re a friend of her mom, Rachelle, you can watch it HERE.
She hearts DJ Jay-P, Jay-P, Jay-P…

In the day of celebration that Carmelo Anthony hit the game winning shot fresh in his new New York Knick jersey, thought I’d share a few of my favorite videos of him, about him or with him.
1. My sister Chrystal Cruz’ interview with him.
Gaby had to edit Chrys’ part to title cards because she was so enamored by him. It was so cute and done in the backseat of a car that had taken him to his first appearance on Jimmy Kimmel later that evening:
Thanks to Think Tank aka Vise of Deux Process for keeping her company and making sure she didn’t faint upon meeting.
I understand, if I had to interview Charles Barkley I don’t even know if words would come out. I’ve had 100 chances to meet him but rather keep how my vision of how cool he would or should be in my head.
2. Etch a Sketch of Melo.
How dope is this??? I had never seen this before until this video came out. I can’t even get the thing to make a straight line!
Amazed at how he did this, the best Etch a Stetch artist on the planet. Wonder how much practice he had to do to create this though!
3. His first Myspace Video Drop (back when we filmed everything ourselves… can you tell?
Wow check out the quality on this one. How did we even upload this? I heart Nate Auerbach for bringing Melo into our lives.
I heard my cousin Jhoanna Alba, owner of Elevee Clothing for being there that day in Marina Del Rey too. The randomness is awesome.
4. “Inside peanut butter, outside jelly” chants Melo as he walks down the red carpet. I sneak in a question asking him about Father’s Day and therefore making his first annoucement of him and Lala’s pregnancy. How adorable is he?
5. Kat Williams & Melo Artist on Artist shot on our rooftop shot when he wasn’t busy and was suspended for 15+ games post Knicks/Nuggets brawl, Allen Iverson was also named as a new player for December the following day. First time I met a man shorter than me that I loved to be around. Our very first of the program. Kat intro “first person I asked for was Jordan… and he told me to ask you!” Hilarious…
p.s. Jordy- I miss you.
6. “I’m coming home…” Knicks commercial.
- this made me actually like Diddy & Dirty Money’s song after watching it. Short but sweet. Straight to the point.
7. and of course… Last night’s – award winning shot. Yay Melo. Good for you. Thanks Keith Fujimoto!
We’re excited to see Jo-Koy perform at the Irvine Improv this Sunday for the 7pm showing. He has a series of shows this weekend and super proud of the Filipino American comedian who has come such a long way! Love that he embraces his heritage as well. To me, that’s JustRight.

Comedy Central Special:
“When creative minds and generous hearts are aimed in the right direction the results are JustRight.” -Richard Bao
So much appreciation and respect goes out to Richard Bao, CEO/Founder of Neoclassics, for supporting and being a part of the JustRight Project. His motivation is very inspiring and shines through all the hard work he does for the love of his company. Neoclassics generously collaborated with the JustRight Project and made shirts, which are available now, with profits going directly to the cause. Richard’s contribution will help change lives and build homes for the poorest of the poor in the Aytona Village, Philippines.
What is Neoclassics?

Definitely want to thank Ms. Vargas for her generous donations and sponsoring Team RunRight. Her contribution will help change lives, just like what this lady does for her career. She saves lives and loves being there for her patients as a Registered Nurse at USC University Hospital, Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit.
Alongside with her continuous support in helping raise awareness is Nina Salgado, Account Coordinator at Brand Building Communications, Beverly Hills. With an extremely demanding work schedule, but loving every second of it, exudes out of Ms. Salgado, that what you do is truely complimentary to everything around you.
Their amazing drive keeps me driven and I am very appreciative and just blessed to have them a part of the JustRight project… and my life! Love these women!
“… Knowing which friends are “just for professional use.”
Mr. Eric Uaje is a very busy guy, with a full-time schedule: he is either at work as Strategic Growth and Market Planning Analyst at Epson, studying to get his Masters in Business Administration at USC, or you’ll see him at 24Hr Fitness Gym getting a workout in between hours! He means business all the time! And is the JustRight friend to talk to about aspirations and goals. I am not trying to brag about the guy, but I am just so proud of him and very appreciative of his generous donation that will change lives and help build homes for the less fortunate in the Philippines, and also for sponsoring myself, Chrystal for Team RunRight during the HB Surf City Marathon!
“… It doesn’t matter how long you haven’t seen a true friend because when you do see them, everything is JustRight.” -Aldo Sibal
I am a big believer of surrounding yourself and always reconnecting as much as possible with positive and good people to help motivate you, keep you driven and just simply happy.
They wouldn’t be considered just people, they would be the definition of friendship.
Finally had an overdue and over-consumption of all-u-can-eat korean bbq dinner the other night with an individual who I have the upmost respect for because of his love for life and down to earth attitude. He had open ears and an open heart about the JustRight Project and is definitely on board to raise awareness.
Thank you Aldo for your support and I appreciate you so much as my bestfriend! I cannot wait until our big trip to the motherland, Philippines.
Thanks to my Tita Ofie/Uncle Mike and other recent donations we have recently crossed the line of generating at least $2300.00 for one home in the Aytona Village!
It means alot to us to get support from our Alba family who were born and raised in the Philippines like our Tita Ofie- Ofelia Russell. Like many of your families, my aunts, uncles, mom and grandparents have worked hard to create a great life in the United States while still giving back to where they were born and raised. We admire their hard work and hope to create a new generation that is not only aware of their current surroundings but those on the otherside of the world where their roots lie as well.
“JustRight is jazz on a Monday evening. JustRight is love in its purest form. JustRight is change in its finest hour. JustRight feels just right.” -Coincidence
If you don’t know… get to know.
“I’m Coincidence. I rap & occasionally make a beat.
Born a Knicks fan, raised a UCLA fan..I live to read the Sports page, jot notes in my Moleskine, and enjoy my daily 2 cups of cofee, black…none of that shit B drinks.
Woody Allen is my spirit animal. David Halberstam is my mentor. Charles Oakely is my doppelganger.
Musically, I’m a kid from the “boom bap” generation, when it was just about dope raps over doper beats. I grew up dubbing DJ Revolution’s sets on the Wake Up Show and memorizing Ras Kass freestyles. I dunno if there’s anything I feel more than a Cam’ron verse or a track from…
I currently blog about basketball shenanigans and help out with some NBA stuff in the PDX.
That’s about it.”
This very modest kind soul (and I am not just saying this because he is my best friend of 15 years) but I can proudly say that I am fortunate to see this individual evolve as a talented musician, CEO/founder of HW&W Recordings, producer known as Pete&Pete and phenomenal sports journalist on his known sports blog dedicated to 90′s athleticism on oakelyandallen.
Thank you very much Coincidence on your generous donation and blessing our ears with a beat made just for the JustRight Project.
….”Traveling while seeing alot of different cultures and lifestyle. its JustRight ro be grateful and appreciate what you have living out here…”
Thank you to your special donation made at www.firstgiving.com/justright to Chrystal Cruz for the #RunRight marathon on 2/6.
Meet the other RunRight runners HERE. Not too late to run with us! E-mail email@example.com for details.
Shout out to the homies, DELTA 9 MCs for recording this song and video for the JustRight Project!!
